doug + merps night!

Not too long ago we had a little fun with wine and cheese with our friends doug and meredith (aka mr. grumpster + murderdeath)... a pinot noir from Uva and some cheeses from the Bedford Cheese Shop. delicious night.

(this night ended in playing drinking games while watching the special collector's edition of showgirls, starring nomi malone, queen of the kick and stare.)

Food Love: Barcelona

new best discovery in the food category = fuet

the number one food of the trip: a fall-off-the-bone lamb dish
over truffle mashed potatoes. (I LOVE POTATOES)

razor clams (w/ chorizo) are delicious. who knew?

secret diner that serves veal on a lava rock.

my first experience eating rabbit (sadface)

best cheese plate of my life. it included candied (?) chestnuts and a gelatinous fruit thing that i've never seen before.

Lost in Barcelona

Everyone that knows me knows I am someone who doesn't consult a map (or at least not well) and gets lost often. That's why I'm going to name my world travels posts "Lost in..."
