4.21.11 Delorean & The Stepkids at Brooklyn Bowl

so pitchfork had something to do with this 3-D Delorean
video that they played before their set

Delorean put on a great, energetic show that really got me going — I'm not biased or anything, but I LOVED the drums. Nice and loud and really drove the music. Stepkids opened and were also great, but no surprises there!

4.20.11 The Raveonettes, Brooklyn

This show was freakin awesome. I really love <3 The Raveonettes. I often listen to them during my morning commute, and usually I find their music comforting or soothing (reverb?), but they really rock your pants off in person.

diy string photo collage

the image quality is lacking here, i realize, but the general idea is there...

STRING PHOTO COLLAGE
  • take both string handles out of any bag — just rip them out (gently)
  • install little eye-hole screws (that can't be what they're called hah) so that they're level as pictured below
  • untie each end of the string, one at a time, and loop it through the screw hole, then retie the knot
  • hang photos/anything with clips!

i like this project because you can change out your photos any time, easily.
